Marvelous Marvin was a beast in the ring. My guy was Sugar Ray Leonard but THIS GUY had my respect.

Damn, damn, damn.....My favorite in the early to mid 80’s before Tyson came on the scene. I had a pair of red and white boxing gloves that came with his signature, RIP....

One of the best. Hagler/Hearns fights were legendary growing up.
One of my father's favorite fights. RIP.

No way to know for sure. The vaccine has a varying affect on people. From a little arm soreness to down for the count for several days.

Hagler did have heart issues. They said they weren't currently life threatening, but issues none the less. Now if the vaccine made him feel ill, it could have worsened his other issues. It could be no more complicated than that.

Why? If you ever had any kind of invasive surgery you have to read and sign a paper that says you understand there are risks, including death, that can happen.

So what if he did die from vaccine side effects? Vaccines would stop being given because of one death?

The smallpox vaccine was quit being given years ago partly because more people died from the vaccine than were dying from the disease, but we're far from getting to that point on the Covid vaccine.

Just for point of discussion, my wife works at a large hospital and they had given over 11,000 vaccine shots with zero severe reactions. That, despite the number, is of course still anecdotal evidence, but it is a significant number.

Do you actually live in the current world? Does not sound like it.

This vaccine is controversial already; a famous person dies after getting it and you do not see what will happen?

No need for insults, first of all. Obviously I live in the current world, couldn't post here if I wasn't.

Second, nearly everything is controversial there are still people who think the Earth is flat, with 6 billion people in the world there will always be controversy.

Third, you're saying that since Hagler got the virus and died shortly thereafter that was the cause of his death. That is called anecdotal evidence, meaning a relationship has not been established. You cannot show a direct relationship by the simple fact that he died after getting the shot. There are many other plausible reasons for his death.

And most of all Hagler's widow has come out and publicly stated the vaccine was NOT the cause of his death. From USA Today she said:
"The claim that boxing champion Marvin Hagler's death was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine is FALSE, based on our research. The claim originates from former boxer Thomas Hearns' March 14 Instagram post which has since been deleted. Hagler's widow, Kay Hagler, took to Facebook to dispel the misconception that the vaccine had anything to do with her husband's death."

Another stupid rumor spread by somebody (Hearns) looking to promote their own agenda...
