Marvin Harrison signs new deal with Indianapolis. Isn't he like 33 or 34?

$22 million bonus, $9 million per year for the first 4 years.

Looks like Edgerrin James is going to be available for no draft pick compensation. How can they afford to franchise him. It appears we won't be needing him. How often do you see one of the best RB switch teams for nothing. Oh well.

Actually, he is 32 and has only been the league for 9 seasons including this one. Considering he is one of the 3 best receivers in the league and Indy is a Superbowl contender, I don't think it was such a bad signing. It also doesn't hurt that he is a character guy who is not a distraction to his team and does all the right things.

I think it is a mistake. With Stokely and Wayne already on the roster at WR and Clark/Pollard at TE they had enough weapons in the receiving game. Their money would have been better spent on defense or Edge.

Anyone think Harrison plays out his contract at age 39?
