Anyone see this guys against Detroit, IN A DOME....?
Talk about about a case of the yips...
Missed 5 kicks, most if not all were very makeable.
Unreal, was one of the best kickers in the league at one time.
Guess most kickers have a shelf life and when it expires it’s over.
Don’t see too many like Mortenson, Janikowski, and the few that kick well into their mid to late 30s or beyond. Seems like a lot of them just wake up and can’t kick anymore, Vandejerk comes to mind.

Maybe it is just me but it "seems" like there have been more missed kicks this year so far than any other year I can recall off the top of my head.

Again...maybe it just seems that way but it really seems bad this year so far.

I texted my grandson during the game. Told him Crosby has the Yips. It was surreal watching that tho. I thought McCarthy did a good thing gettng him back on the field to kick one before the game was over. he has a ton of leash tho just because he has been so good for so long . That day definetly hurt his percentage.

Maybe the polarity of the kicking ball is not correctly aligned with the polarity of the goal posts.

He's fine. He goes through stretches like this throughout his career but then always gets it going and makes some big kicks.
