We still have massive need at WR. The best thing we can do is try to trade into the top 15 to get JSN
So, to be clear, we need to trade our 2nd and other assets to jump into the Top 15 to get a WR who if everything goes according to plan, would only be on the field around, at best, 20% of the offensive snaps.

Remember, the Cowboys basically have said that they count on the draft to find their impact guys and expect their high picks to make immediate impacts. It seems unlikely they would take a WR at 26, let alone trade away other top picks, to move up to take a WR that would be 4th on the depth chart.

Last year, the top three snaps at WR were Gallup, Lamb and Brown. If you add up the 6 other WRs who got snaps in 2023, it only totaled around 28%. The Cowboys don't use a 4th WR a lot.

Ok, the whining is getting old

  1. Lamb...2 time Pro Bowl and 2nd team All Pro--very rare accomplishment
  2. Cook....perennial 1000 yard wr
  3. Gallup...a year removed from good season and should be better year 2 after surgery
  4. plus we will almost surely draft a WR at some point and may add another lessor FA WR

Please list the teams that for sure have a better WR group
I bet, if you are honest, the list is pretty small

Huh? lol

Lamb, Cooks and Galloway should be among the better WR trios in the NFL.

Because almost nobody could break free of coverage or catch?
Lamb absolutely was able to break free and catch last year, the team has added Cooks, who has a strong history as an effective NFL receiver, and Gallup will be in training camp and not have to pick up mid-season while still building up after the injury like last year.

If you can give up a 3rd for hopkins, you do it, if anything to ensure KC or the Eagles don't get him.
