I gotta agree with everything you said. I am also a Rory McIlroy fan. I feel so bad for that kid. I want to see him bounce back from this.

Just got back from a 15 hour return drive from Kentucky and watched my dvr'd copy of the final round.......WOW, that was great! Congrats Charl Schwartzel. 4 birdies in a row to close it out....are you kidding me? He played out of his mind all day. Felt bad for Rory...he looks like a slob but the kid is very well spoken and has a great game. He'll learn from this and be dangerous. Thought Tiger was going to force a playoff. Outstanding front 9, left a lot of strokes on the back 9. Silverbear is right, his main area of concern is missing makeable putts. I don't think it will be a problem for much longer though. That old swagger was back today. This should be good.

I would have liked to see McIlroy win it too. He'll be fine. Still only 21. But watching him today was painful. I even felt bad for Cabrera having to play with him. When groups like Day/Scott and Schwartzel/Choi play well and feed off of each other like it seemed like they were, you wonder how much better it could have been had McIlroy/Cabrera been on it. Would have been hard to top today's action though.

Yes, you're right....how did I not see that watching golf on TV is lazier than watching football on TV? It's all so clear now....
