I really don't care about Tiger's personal life. All I know is when he's on fire there is nothing better in golf to watch. I will pretty much only watch golf when Tiger is on his game.

I wish ESPN would let me watch some golf today. They are beating a dead horse about the stroke penalty on the 14yo. I get it, he was penalized, get over it.

At first, they showed about 5 shots per 30 minutes with a lot of commercials and interviews. It is better now, but they reached their limit, I bet more interviews to follow

I'm assuming you don't play much, if at all. It's one of those sports ya have to have passion for it to watch in most cases.

If you do play a lot of golf, then I have no answer for ya

It's certainly not for everyone. If you played golf, chances are you'd enjoy watching the Masters. But if you don't play, there's no need to force something which just isn't there.

no i don't play golf, but i am open to watching it and learning the game. i didn't like basketball about two years ago until i took the time to learn the schemes and plays then i had a new appreciation for it and now i am really into basketball. kinda figured i could give the same chance to golf

Don't get why people are surprised when folks talk about the greats and winning, it goes hand and hand.

It's just too bad greatness and class don't go hand in hand. Sometimes is does (see my avatar for an example) and sometimes it doesn't (i.e. Tiger Woods).

I've got nothing to "move on" from as I'm not an aggrieved party. I'm just accurately stating that despite what Nike wants us to believe, Tiger is a lowlife. All the green jackets in the world won't change that.

With that being said, no man, and I mean no man is perfect. And depending how you look at it, one wrong is no different than any other wrong, its a matter of whether that individual had learned and moved on from it.

We dont know how bad roger was in his free time, although I am sure he was a great man, had the media not got into the details of a superstar's lives, we would not know what transpired. Tiger may have had quite a few mental lapses in his marriage, but he does have his charity and other things in which he helps others.

The last thing anybody should do is be looking to athletes who get paid to display their physical abilities on a playing field, for moral confidence. These dudes get around. take them for what they are, athletes.

I admit I know neither Tiger nor Roger personally, but I am informed enough to know that when it comes to character, the 2 men are on the other end of the spectrum.

I'm not ashamed to say that there are indeed a small number of athletes whom I admire, whom I consider an example for how I would like myself or my (hypothetical) kids to live their lives.

Tiger with the 2 stroke penalty for an illegal drop. He also signed an incorrect scorecard which used to be an automatic disqualification. New rule gives PGA? The choice whether to DQ the golfer so they didn't. Any other golfer did this? Hmmmm. Tiger admitted he dropped further back to gain advantage on yardage. How good are these guys that 2 yards make that much difference.
