Matt Eberflus' departure as DC is one of Bears biggest offseason losses

The Bears hired the hot new commodity in Ben Johnson. They better be right. The media blew the dog whistle for that guy . I never understood it I guess. Detroit was loaded with talent. Losing Eberflus could haunt them

I was skeptical of Ben as well, specifically because of how loaded they were. But he really did seem to have a lot to do with it. ASB specifically had done nothing prior to Ben's elevation to playcalling. Guess we'll see, but I believe in him a bit more now then I did initially

I like him as a DC for sure. I live near Grand Rapids, Michigan and I listen to WSCR 670 AM sports radio out of Chicago, because I'm a Cubs fan. But make NO mistake, that's a Bears town through and through. As I said, players really put out for him on D but he just wasn't a good HC and lots of great coordinators aren't good HC's....it's not unusual. He's a good one. Schotty though? I have major doubts.
