can he practice this week?

Better question...will we ever see him play a regular season game for Dallas? I hope this team doesn't count on him being healthy next year, safety needs upgraded in the off-season.

Johnson (and Peprah) needs to be shelved for this season. Cowboys need to bring in someone else right now.

They need some healthy bodies, and if they can tackle worth a damn that would help too.

Would it matter, I mean really.

Its still unbelievable to me how much hope we have for the 4th round rookie from nowhere to help immediately. We don't even have reason to hope, other than a draft day home movie taken by his mother.

What's wrong with pephrah?

It's one thing for a corner to throw a shoulder on a tackle, but for a safety it is pathetic. Especially when it could have been a stop for minimal gain and ends up being a first and goal, setting up the Saints for the go ahead TD.

Plus he is supposed to be a cover safety but he was shook out of his socks, not once but twice, on the Saints second touchdown.

Waiting on him to return from injury was a mistake. Go find another warm body, preferably one that knows how to wrap up.

It says a lot about the team's confidence in him that he was put on the IR designated to return when that would prevent until the playoffs.

I'll be interested in what we see from him.

does it really make any difference, the guy wouldn't see the field anyway and with his luck, he'd slip running on to the field and be placed on IR, the guy is made of glass the way he's injured all the time.....looking more and more like a wasted pick

This guy could have gotten so many snaps if remained healthy. Really bad luck for him, hope he works hard this offseason so it doesnt happen again or must be cut.

We waited for Lee and Carter, and those paid off. We waited for Stanback and he didn't. You just don't know.

Matt Johnson is a very good young player. The coaches know that, that's why they didn't end his season. He's gonna contribute if we make the playoffs, bank on it!

The kid looked very good at the practice I saw him at this summer. I can't wait to see him on the field again. I hope he can practice and play against the Skids!!!
