Just me but I'm starting to think Mason may not go as high as some expect. Carter dropped to 9th and everyone knew he was a beast.

Also, fun fact I read about Jalon Walker .......he's studying to become a orthodontist. Says he could put players' teeth back in place after knocking them out :lmao2:

This sounds about right. Ive seen several mentions that this is a weaker draft at the top. Hopefully a couple of desperate teams will take a QB early to push down a couple of players.

With so many needs we just need to take the BPA, period. If that happens to be Jeanty or one of those 3 WRs I’m good with it. DT is near the top of our needs list but I wouldnt settle for a 2nd tier one over better talent at another need area.

Taking a tight end would be pure hell
I know have Furgerson but an elite/3-down TE brings a lot of value to the offense as a receiver, pass protector and blocker. I remember Jason Garrett saying Jason Witten had more offensive responsibilities than any player except Tony Romo. He knew the responsibility of every position offense for every play.

IF he is by far and away the BPA you take him or trade if possible.
But if someone is close to him on the board at DT or RB then that is the way to go
don't be a slave to BPA.

Warren is not ideal but one upside would be not getting trapped in a bad Ferguson contract down the road.

Carter has off the field concerns. He was a legit blue chip prospect just like Nabers / MHJ were.

Graham isn’t on his level but in a weak class I’d be surprised if he doesn’t go top 10.

If we are picking 15-17 and the board is wiped and Tyler Warren is BPA.........I would strongly consider pulling the trigger.
Not ideal but if he’s clear cut BPA and we don’t have a trade down partner I’d be on board.

Would likely be the 2nd best weapon on the team his rookie year for a team that desperately needs more weapons.

Also keeps you from paying Ferguson.

Mason Graham compares to Nnamdi Madubuike? Madubuike was a 3rd round pick. But I suppose he probably deserved a 1st round grade based on his NFL career.

I love Tyler Warren from Penn St. Even though I have a rule of not drafting TEs in the first round I would have made an exception for Brock Bowers and I would make an exception for Tyler Warren. After Bowers had such a great season, I wonder if Warren's stock will rise as a result.

This. I doubt he's that much better than players below him if he's even actually rated higher at all.

Exactly ....... and you are adding a player who could be a major weapon for your offense for the next 7-8 years. Love his catch radius which should help Dak.
