Matt Moore news

Just mark me down as unimpressed...he displays an arrogance towards Dallas. His decision will be ego and money. No thanks.

Miami, the team that knows him best, looks to be replacing him with Weeden after five years! The Colts went with Scott Tolzien over M. Moore. Any more than the vet min. to compete with our Moore would be a waste of money. I think it is pretty evident that we are drafting a QB - maybe not in first round, but in the first three.

Just draft a QB at #4.

What if one doesn't carry a high enough grade to warrant that?

What if we don't think one is better than Moore?

Just drafting a QB at #4 sounds like a blind faith attempt at addressing our backup QB need to me.

I think if any player doesnt carry a high enough grade you dont take him, especially not in the top 10. Having said if you have a QB rated amoungst the 10 best prospects in the draft this year you take him to my eyes.

How the Cowboys veiw them remains to be seen. Oh to be a fly on that wall

I know I didn't elaborate but I don't think they should just draft one to draft one.

Wentz or Goff at 4 is worth it, both are going to be good enough to win games in the NFL. Both, before they even take a snap in the NFL, are way better then Moore ever will be. If you have one at 4, take him. Taking either one addresses our starter situation, neither is a back up. Wont replace Romo immediately but could next year and both could step in this year if Romo goes down. Romo does not have 4-5 years left. and is one hit away from being done. take a guy that can step in this year and win if needed, chances are greater than zero he will be needed. Thats too big a risk, I dont want to repeat 2015 again.

If the professional scouts feel like those guys are truly franchise QB's then I am for it, but look at the 2011 draft. The Panthers are the only team that took a QB that are happy with the decision today. The other teams missed out on some very franchise changing talent, including our own Tyron Smith. We would all love to set at QB until 2030, but if the guy is just not there, he is just not there.

Typical "we are pursuing all avenues to upgrade talent" move. They won't sign him. They just made themselves look interested because Cowboys fans know the name.
