They've done nothing in FA to accomplish this.

Now QB at 4 becomes much more palatable for them.

I agree. I would be pretty bummed if we didn't take a quarterback in the first at this point. But I would get over it eventually.

Money wasn't the issue at all. It was the impromptu altercation in the parking lot with our dear Kellen and a crazed BSU fan of his that prompted Matt to burn rubber off of the premises.

I don't think that's the case. I think Jerry wants to win more than anyone.

I would just LOVE to know how he plans on getting that done this year though.

After last years' embarrassment, how in the world can you not part with less than 2M/per for a backup QB?

I'm not clamoring for millions to be thrown around, nor was Jerry ever cheap. I just wonder what gives lately. They don't seem to want to pay for ANYONE.

Players visit, get lowballed, then sign for more money elsewhere. Is it really THAT important to save a few bucks?? Arent we trying to improve?

Well, everybody knows the Cowboys are about to draft a QB. So I think he just doesn't want to be that 3rd or 4th guy.

There has to be some sort of something going on behind the scenes. Kellen Moore just CANNOT be the plan.

Just throwing this out there, but maybe they know they can get say, Nick Foles for maybe a 6th or 7th and they like him that much more than Matt Moore, and LA is waiting to sign another starter, like Griffin, before trading Foles.

I don't know. Maybe I just want to HOPE there's a plan better than Kellen Moore considering this was supposedly the "priority" of the offseason.

Everyone assumes we are low balling on offers to everyone...lol...in reality it just didn't work out.
Maybe they wanted too much. They could think, well, Dallas needs me, so I will ask for over my value....and Dallas is saying, adios mo fo we aren't that desperate....there are other options still.

Why would they go after Foles and his $9 million dollar contract? Does that make sense to you?

Possibly....although I thought the rookie would be the 3rd string guy to start his career. Now it's looking more like he will be the number 2.
