don't we have to beat philly to clinch a bye?
Nope. Seattle now has 5 losses, the most Dallas can lose is 4.

You guys are like a bunch of old women, with your curses and such.

People get on the madden cover because they put up career years, they peak at the year before, and then people wonder why they never are as good as that again. Alexander dropped off because he's old and he carried the ball almost 400 times the year before.

And then there's Vince Young, who was just overrated last year and looks overwhelmed this year now that Jeff Fisher gave him a real offense to orchestrate.

Well, I guess that accounts for 2 of the players. How about you explain the rest. Eddie George, Marshall Faulk, Ray Lewis, Culpepper, McNabb, Vick.

Must just be all coincidence I suppose.

Yea, the coincidence is football is a dangerous sport and injuries are likely, especially to aging players, and even more to quarterbacks who are known to use their feet more than their arms... and *gasp* running backs, who are on average have the shortest careers of anyone in the NFL. WOW what are the odds of injury and slower production occurring to THAT group of people?

Also Eddie George put up a pretty good year if I remember, and Ray Lewis is STILL a decent player, despite being really old.
