Another guy I would take over whatever the hell our coaching situation is

This is a risky hire. Andy Reid disciple with one year of OC experience. I assume he's the Trubisky Whisperer. That, or the Bears are getting in the Alex Smith sweepstakes to develop Trubisky gradually. Still don't like the move.

I like Andy Reid and I hate Andy Reid. He can scheme some great offensive game-plans and get the most out of marginal QBs... but he also gets into weird ruts when he won't run the ball when he's got a big lead and running out the clock would basically ice the game (like the Titans game we just saw), and he is atrocious in clock management to the point where it's practically a psychiatric diagnosis (like in the Super Bowl against the Pats and... his last playoff game against the Pats.)

He'd probably make Dak look a million times better, then tell him to take 6 minutes running the 2 minute drill when down 10 points late in the 4th quarter to guarantee a loss. He's the smartest moron in the NFL.

Maybe its a little like being a savant. So much of him is near genius that nature demanded there be a part of him that is moronic and it always shows up when it matters the most

For as much as people talk about Belichick being a "genuis" a lot of it is just doing the obvious thing.

Their run D sucks? Let's just run it over and over.

We can't run the ball? Just let Brady throw 50+ times.

The other team has 1 superstar weapon? Just double-team the SOB every snap and make them throw to the scrub on the other side.
