Let's see if he gets blasted the way Romo would. He's now 0-3. I'm sure Mike Smith is going to take the brunt of the criticism, but Ryan did nothing to distinguish himself today. I doubt he will get ripped by the national pundits, because nobody outside of the ATL cares about the falcons.

Actually I've noticed a shift in Ryan's reputation this year. People are starting to knock him.

It'll never be to the tune of the QB of the Cowboys though. If you want to be the most visible franchise in the league, you take the good with the bad and quit crying like you're a victim.

Other than today, when he didn't have much of a chance, he's been pretty great this year.

He threw some 30 fewer passes than Eli (who actually is the most overrated player in the NFL) and had the same amount of TDs with 4 fewer picks.

Matt Ryan should have had a ton more Tds that what he had, he overthrew his wr's deep on several occasions. Falcons fans have been upset with the unability to connect on the deep ball all season
