Matt Shaub out for season

That stinks.

They're going with Matt Leinart? It's a chance for him to redeem his career. I feel for him and their fans. They finally have a clear path to the division title, and the one thing that could derail them may just have.

What a waste of a playoff spot they are now.
Same for the afc west .

The NFC is going to have a few good teams miss the playoffs

They were the most complete team in football to me, but it's over now.

They'll still win the division, but they'll get it worse than KC did in the playoffs last year.

that ends my nightmare scenario ............i had a bad vision of us playing Texans in SB and Wade getting last laugh ..

***disclaimer****....im not suggesting the Cowboys are SB ready , it was just a thought...one that would have hurt really bad

"Leinart is about to blow up. He is way better than people think, players love him and so do coaches. His arm is better than Schaubs and i can guarantee he wont do half of the dumb stuff schaub has done. Go Texans! Injuries dont hold back true contenders."

.....yikes. Dude is gonna have a HARD fall from grace. My guess is they finish 10-6 and go on the road in the wild card game: and lose. Sucks, but that's football.

sucks for us, was hoping they would add a few "L"s to Detroit and Chicago to help our playoff chances.

Anyone else think that the Titans and Chris Johnson just perked up a bit? That division might not be settled just yet.

Very much so. Maybe he will be motivated again. He had a good week this week.

Hasselbeck is no pushover either.

But even then, I think the Texans will win the division.

Before this season started did anyone imagine that the AFC South would trot out Matt Hassleback, Matt Leinart, Curtis Painter and Blaine Gabbert as their starting QBs?

You don't think 10-6 is enough to win the AFC South? If they win the division, they get a home game during wildcard week.

With a top 5 defense and running game all he has to do is "manage" the game. If Leinert can't do it with this offense he will be out of the league pretty soon.
