We have no offensive weapons outside of Lamb.

WRs are ridiculously overpriced right now as free agents.

Golden is good at all the things Dak likes.

He is a good route runner / separator

He has incredible 4.29 speed

He’s 6’0

He can track the football and has a large catch radius

He also plays big in big games.

He looks like a Antonio Brown starter kit on the field to me.

The Arizona guy just looks like a guy Dak would struggle to get the ball to.

I think Golden almost has to be our pick at this point.

The only problem is we would have burned a 12th overall AND 4th rounder on WR position.........

BTW......take it for what it's worth

Seems there is a huge drop off in talent at all positions this year. Except RB and DT. Our two biggest needs.

Take the BPA at any of those other positions of need. Take a RB or DT in the 2nd round.

Cheapest and longest lasting target available for what holds the Dallas offense back. A pair of strong producers. Offensive tackles is very relavent and not with a lick and cover to the hole.

Golden like the other wide receivers in this draft is player you would like to pick in 20s or the top of the second round. Is he really better than what we have in Tolbert. Before the college season started he was Texas’s 3rd receiver. He never had any big seasons in college as well. So many questions.
I agree but if they just have to take one at 12 golden is the one. I personally think better value on wr is savion Williams in round 2. He's a "weapon" besides ceedee

Honestly.....this is what I would do but trade down near 20 and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd. I would just take the BPA at one of my positions of need.

I would take Hampton. I know he would be our lead back as soon as we draft him. It would be between Will Johnson, cornerback, and Hampton. I would trade down obviously but gun to my head I want a walk in starter that would change our offense or defense.

by that logic why don't we draft Tyler Warren?. he can get open and outmuscle any body covering him

I would trade down from #12 into the early 20s and pick up an extra 2nd round ... or 3rd and 4th round picks. If WR Matthew Golden is still available in the early 20s, take him. If he's not available, take big DT Derrick Harmon. If Harmon is also gone, take LB Jihaad Campbell. If Campbell is also gone, trade down once again into the late 20s/early 30s and pick up an extra 3rd and 4th round picks. Use that late 1st round pick to get DT Tyleik Williams.

Now, the Cowboys would have two 2nd round picks, two 3rd round picks and a 4th round pick. Lots of good RBs, several WRs with speed, several good LBs and several good CBs available to pick with those 5 picks in rounds 2 - 4.

I think everyone is pretty unanimous with the trade down. We need an extra top 75 to fill these holes.

JMO, sign a FA WR.......there is still SDiggs and ACooper out there.

Trade down and Use rd 1-3 on (playmaker- preferably on D; prefer CB, LB, DE), DT, and RB.

If this team doesn't get a running game, then it doesn't matter who WR2 is. Dak is not Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen. He isn't going to put precise throws 40 yds down the field. He needs a running game. So get the running game first.
And get the D straightened out. Dallas can score 28 a game, and it not matter a bit if the D is giving up 35. Right now, most of the assets and money are tied into the QB, front line, and WR........at least until Parsons signs. This team badly needs DL, LB and RB. It isn't going anywhere till these three positions are made better.

Then and only then would a WR2 make any difference at all. There is still only one ball they are playing with. There are still 5 OL, 1 QB, and 5 skill players on the field. Teams love it when the QB is a playmaker as well, but in general 5-1-5 is the setup. Teams and people don't seem to understand that one group of skill players sets up the other group, and excellent TE's help both the running and passing games. The talent on the team determines the playmakers, but the coaching is the one who either makes it excel or allows it to decline.

I keep trying to yell people this. Maybe they'll listen if you say it
