Matthews cheap shot

Why was the flag not thrown and Matthews ejected. He hit Him on the knees 3seconds after the ball was out. I quarantee The Cowboys would have been penalized of that was done to Rodgers.

I don't know about being ejected but there were 2 occasions where Romo was hit low at the knees that a 15 yarder should have been called.

After that shot to Romo I wish we took one to Rodgers as well for payback even if it's 15 yards!

Given our owner's willingness to open his mouth on pretty much every other subject that exists I'm disappointed he doesn't do it when this sort of thing happens. A fine from the league is less expensive than Brandon Weeden starting.

yup....Where is Jerry's Johnnie Walker balls when you need them the most?

It's really weird how calm Jerrah has been after GB, given how hysterically he was frenching Christie after wins the prior few weeks.

I think he got the one home playoff game win, validation about having faith in Garrett/Romo/etc., and a revitalized fan base lining his pockets anew.

No worries

if it was tom brady he would have got it.

Romo never gets any of those calls.

Reminds me of this chart posted a few years ago of quarterbacks' rates of drawing roughing the passer penalties (you might need to scroll to the bottom) --

I think the NFL has damaging pictures or information on Jerry. He's never upset with things the NFL does to him. From Sunday's fiasco to the salery cap fine 3 days before free agency, it never seems like he's standing up for what's right for the Cowboys.

Yeah it's not like the Boys are the most popular team:
in the MOST popular sport:
with the highest revenue, of which said owner had a lot of forward thinking to do with:

Naw, he doesn't have any type of pull

i look at it like this...you call the penalties based on the QB's toughness. Look who is at the top of the list posted a few posts up? Cry baby "I twisted my knee" cutler. Tony is at the bottom....because he's superman.

Agree. JJ see's that the Boys are back in the spotlight, and in comparison to other owners he looks like an elder statesman...
