Maurice Jones-Drew's RB Rankings

Lots of respect for people who are willing to ignore the mock drafts out there and trust their own eyes.

I think a lot of MJD's ratings are defensible, but I don't possibly understand how he's that low on Hampton. You name a box that predicts NFL success, and Hampton checks it.

Henderson has shown more speed in games than Judkins,i like so many running backs in this draft, more so than last years draft.

Yeah I agree. I enjoy actually reading the notes on these kind of rankings a lot more than the standard copy/paste rankings with a couple minor adjustments. I'd probably throw Skattebo/Judkins down a few spots and throw Hampton up a bit. Having Blue that far down the list seems odd to me as well.

Seems like MJD values those true lead back work horse types...the safer picks in that regards as well.

I think Henderson has a shot to go in the first, tbh. The combine performance aside, he's shown elite play speed--like a poor man's Gibbs.

That said, I might actually be a bigger fan of Judkins for the Cowboys. I think he's a good mix of all the top guys--he can outrun guys, like Henderson, and he can be a bellcow, like Hampton.

Also, I loved Bucky Irving in the draft last year. See RJ Harvey as a like option.

I like some of the players he is featuring, but that Hampton placement is... something else.

I keep seeing the suggestion, on this site and others, that Dallas should just "wait until the 5th and take Skattebo". Something along those lines.

For some reason whenever I say he's probably going in the 3rd at the latest, people try to argue with me. I don't get it. He checks all kinds of boxes and you know there's some NFL team out there that is going to be in love with his physicality.

Hoping Dallas can land T. Henderson from the Ohio St. In round 2. But, not sure he will make it to 44.

I like it, it's different from the group think rankings. I have zero issue with where Hampton is, as I'm not high on him for the Cowboys. However, Hampton does fit the size n speed measurements I feel they want.

I believe they will wait.

DJ Giddens will be a lock later in the draft. Look for them to double dip with a guy like Ollie Gordon or Raheim Sanders

That is quite a stable of backs. Probably why most are good with a trade down and draft RB 3rd round and later.

I'm afraid that Henderson goes before pick 44.
