Watching this team over the last 6 games has been fun. They seem to be turning a leaf, and it isn't purely for the sake of beating bottom feeders. OKC spanked them like they have everyone, but aside from that I see a top 10 defense, and a team averaging 120 ppg whilst missing Kyrie, Lively, Exum, and often Gafford.

The game has clearly slowed down for the #1 overall pick Cooper Flagg. Averaging 23 pts on 56% FG is no fluke. Then you look at guys like Nemhard and B Wiliams and you start to imagine adding Kyrie in this mix.

OKC looks impossible to beat, but if Dallas keeps trending in the right direction, I like their chances in being a menace to every team they face going forward.

if I were the Mavs, I'd still trade the house and tank. Tank is the way in the NBA. Next draft is looking loaded. You'll have Cooper Flagg and great chance at another superstar.

If AD is one the floor they are really good on defense.

Issue is he isn't always on the floor.
But they have certainly turned a must tank season into one to push to the trade deadline.
