I've got to say, I like Morez Johnson Jr. pick over Brayden Burries.

People harp saying his scoring floor is too low, but I think his scoring ability is only beginning and I think his college career shows that. In his first year he didn't ever shoot the ball, but after moving to Michigan, it started picking up and culminated last year in a Championship season.

No, he is not going to be competing for a scoring title, but I think he will be able to score and I think playing with Flagg will only compound his ability to score. With Flagg's ability to slash to the rim, he will get lots of clean up, he will get a lot of dump offs at the rim and I think he will end up a real 3-point threat in a few years. He is already showing even though it's a limited sample size that he can shoot.

I think he is shooting somewhere around 37% from 3-point line and that's from a person who doesn't shoot often from the 3-point line.

The fact that he is big at 250lbs and a force on the floor. Well, that will always help tilt the meter.

As for the guy they got @ 25th. Sergio de Larrea. I'm on the fence with this guy. Clearly he has talent, but he is going to need a ton of work. In the gym, ball handling, he has a slow first step. Maybe if he was just a shooter, but they are expecting him to be a point guard post Kyrie?

I think it was a solid haul for you guys. It will probably take 2 , 3 years to pick the fruit but it was a solid Flagg draft. I think Johnson could be Evan Mobley light and De Lerra has starting SG potential and Lawal could be a very good defensive wing in the Herb Jones mold

I was thinking Morez was gonna be a solid defender who could dunk but they seem to have high hopes for him as a shooter. He says he can out the ball on the floor. If he’s doing that’s higher upside and yeah a Mobley light but a better defender. Some of the stuff he does against players smaller than him is impressive. If Lawal is Derrick Jones or Herb I’ll take it.

De Lerra is the guy that could put this draft over. Is his ceiling Evan Fournier? Or higher?
