I was listening to the radio broadcast when that happened. Not sure who he thought was behind him.

Cleveland just knocked off Mavs on their home court.

The West is not as elevated as perceived.

Detroit and Miami won Championships. The East is back with the Celtics setting franchise records. All they can do is keep beating the crap out of the NBA!

I give Spurs props. Mavs look like a team going the wrong way.

The Celtics have not played a top West team outside of the Lakers yet. We'll see how they fare against the big boys, starting on Sunday at the Staples Center.

Defines the Mavs season so far this season. I'd like to say they are just cruising and will start playing once the all star break comes but man it is frustrating to watch them right now.

Doesn't hurt when Western teams give away stars to Eastern teams because they're too afraid to trade with another Western team.

Considering they went 67-15 last season, what record would it take to be heading the right way?

As it stands now the Mavs will finish with around 55 wins and a top four seeding. I'm happy with that. In spite of the hand-wringing by numerous Mavs fans, and finger pointing by everyone else, a quick look at the standings this morning shows the Spurs, Suns, and Mavs ranked 1-2-3 in the WC once again, with the Mavs only two games back of the Spurs in the Southwest division.

But personally, I care more about winning 16 games between April and June.
