Mavs lineup next year

With it looking like the Mavs will sign Devean George any day now, here's what I have the roster looking like:

PG: Harris, Johnson
SG: Terry, Buckner, Ager
SF: Howard, Stackhouse, George
PF: Dirk, Croshere
C: Diop, Damp, Mbenga

Looks pretty good, and obviously guys like Terry and Stackhouse can play more than one position. The problem with that, if you count them, is that it's 13 players so one of them has to go. Mbenga is the most obvious one, but why would we sign him to a new contract if he wasn't going to be on the active roster? Does this mean a trade is in store? Your thoughts please.

Stack is a career trade bait guy - and he was exposed for the streaky player he is in the playoffs. Toodles.

Yeah but if the Mavs trade Stack I can't imagine they would get somebody in return that wouldn't make the roster. They would still be in the same boat. I have heard the George rumor, but I don't thin he's needed here. Then nobody has to go... I like the roster as it is.

Well George is here...I don't really remember much about him from against the Pistons. Let's hope he can play defense.

You can have 14 or 15 on your roster? I know it's only 13 active or whatever but do they have to cut somebody now?

He won't see much PT. He'll be stuck behind Howard, Stack and Buckner. Buckner plays much better D. George is good for a spot up three every now and then, but it's hard to imagine who he's gonna take shots from. He really didn't get much PT with the Lakers last year, they had buried him on the depth chart.
