The league would kill the Mavs to make Luka the face of the Lakers….makes zero sense.

It makes 100% sense...from any and all perspectives: logical, historical, financial.

Look at the Dodgers. You think the league isn't deliberately closing its eyes to the numerous Dodger deferred contracts, where Ohtani counts almost nothing against their current salary tabulation...along with other players...allowing three or four of the top free agents to be easily acquired by L.A. Oh and what a coincidence... including another Japanese pitcher who will immediately rule the league.

Oh and yet another "coincidence"...A series in Tokyo to start the MLB season, planned well in advance between the Dodgers and Cubs.

Meanwhile: The Lakers are big money. Agenda and money want NBA champs to come from the West Coast or the Northern East Coast.

Because I don’t believe in your conspiracies I have nothing to say or bury the conversation lol. What you say just doesn’t make any logical sense. Why would the league hurt Dallas to make a Lakers team that was good stay good? Lakers have lost 6 out of their last 9 games lol.
