why would he start next to Luka? They liked him coming off the bench and spelling Luka and playing alongside him but his pops knew his potential. I admittedly didn’t.

The backcourt of Luka and Jalen took them to the Western Conference Finals that year. You don’t remember that? Jalen started over 60 games that year. I didn’t realize they played 60 games starting together. I seem to remember Brunson having his best games when Luka wouldn’t play. Their ceiling wasn’t high based on their defense but who knows if they had PJ and Lively next to them.
