Max Duggan is Jerry's guy at the Senior Bowl

Yep. Still can't believe Dykes took the ball out of his hands in OT. No way that kid was going to be denied. Not the first time Duggan's done something like that, either. Kid's got the heart of a lion. If there was a scale for "will to win," he'd be off the charts.
And that's why I'm with Jerry on this. I think Duggan will be a solid QB, and he won't need a first round pick imo.

That's your first round draft pick right there!
If Jerry restructures Daks contract, the QB pick will be 6th round I'm sure. Essentially an UDFA. Jerry the snake oil salesman. I think we should not restructure Dak. Let's not kick the can down the road. Free up cap space with others. Cut some fat from this roster. We need to stop believing that we are just "a player" away from winning. 12-5 is entertaining, not winning.

Looks like Jerry wasn't the only one Duggan impressed. The American Team's defensive backs just voted Duggan their Practice Player of the week as the toughest QB to defend. That's a vote of his peers, which I'd put more stock in than sportswriters.

I doubt that they take a qb before the 4th round.
Certainly no higher than third, and more likely fourth or fifth, although as always it depends on the board and the way things are falling. Still have Pro Days and the combine ahead, too, so there's still a lot of time for the order to reshuffle.

Obviously, Jerry passed out prior to the start of the College National Championship game and missed how impressive Max looked against a pro-style defense.

The chance of any of these qbs being good at the pro level are slim.

would not bother me.
liked him at tcu.
also like the fresno st kid.

Dude balled out in the Big 12 Championship Game, did everything he could to try to will his team to victory.

If you missed it, go watch a replay on Youtube................it was an amazing performance, even though they ended up losing the game.
Now read that again....if you're trying to sell Duggan. There's a similarity below

Did not impress in the game today...and I don't think NFL teams will be too high on him. Would be lucky to get drafted at all IMO...there are more polished QBs with better physical tools in this draft (not that they are good prospects either)

draft him at 2 and trade up our whole draft to get him and if you need too give them next years draft that;s how dumb and dumber would do ha ha ha

Do we have a problem with accurate quarterbacks? Duggan wasn’t even a pro prospect until this season.

Why do we treat the QB position the way we treat kicker when it relates to high draft picks? Take a QB somewhere in the first three rounds. Duggan is a day 3 pick.
If the Cowboys select him it will be on day three.

:welcome:
It was one of the best performances by a QB I have ever seen, just inexcusable in OT to take it out of his hands and rely on the running game.

I would love for Dallas to draft this kid, could be an excellent backup for us, dont think he is an NFL starter.:yourock:

I think Brock Purdy's success is going to change how teams look at QBs late in the draft.
