I thought it was interesting that Quinn (Maxwells def co-ord last year) targeted Maxwell in the win over Philty.
Maxwell was thrown to 11 times and gave up 10 completions for 179 yards- 80 to Julio Jones and 84 to Roddy White. The player he replaced (Fletcher) in his worst game last year gave up 164 yards. He also never allowed over 8 receptions in a game last year. Dez would have been drooling but I think after watching the films our coaches will test him often if he doesnt get help with whoever he's covering. I know its only one game but its says a lot when your ex-coach makes you the target.

He played with one of the best defenses with Seattle. Sherman to 2 CB if not number 1, Thomas number 1 FS, Cam number 1 SS. The Seattle LB and DL are very good as well

Good point. I missed the prior connection between Quinn and Maxwell even though i knew maxwell came from seattle - just wasnt looking at it.

Maxwell is not very fast and he's covering a superhuman like Julio Jones. When Julio Jones is healthy he's as difficult to cover as Megatron.

That's very true.

But Maxwell also struggled a great deal against Roddy White.
