It's not about finding money, it's about staying within the salary cap. If the Cowboys go significantly over the cap, the league could heavily fine the team, take away draft picks, void player contracts and even ban them from signing additional players.

I understand that, of course. When i say "find some money" I mean Cap money. Some here are saying we could restructure and find a lot. I dunno I haven't run the numbers, but that is what we need.

Sporttac is usually off on market value. Especially here. Hendrickson is going to command what Parsons got and probably more. If he hits the open market contenders are going to be bidding for him. He isnt signing for 25 AAV

The guaranteed years for Crosby is a benefit not a detriment to whoever aquires him. He is in a very team friendly deal

Only way Raiders will move on from Crosby is by them accepting less compensation for him. They won't get a 1st. Not now. He's 28 or so, having knee surgery, and has a huge cap number. Only way all parties involved can strike a amicable deal is if they take less for him and each team agrees to eat some money and the player will need to rework the deal. Raiders created a problem with this contract.

The contract is extremely tradeable….

1) A trade before June 1st, 2026, results in only about $5M in dead cap for the Raiders, saving them significant cash and cap space.

2) The deal was front-loaded, with large cap hits in early years, but the final years (2028-2029) have no guaranteed money, making them easy for a new team to exit.

Yep, he's the best available and IT ONLY TAKES ONE TEAM TO BE DESPERATE ENOUGH TO PAY early and OVER THE ODDS (Caps for effect)......and that's not Jerry who's looking for a deal (that showcases his footballing/business genius).

My issue is has recent Jerry shown that he is willing to get into a bidding war on the FA market?

If he didn't have the balls to go after Derrick Henry, how is he going to grow a pair to get Crosby or any other big name FA with his draft picks?

I don't think this team is fixed in any way with just removing Eberflus.

There is way more issues witht his team than just the defensive coordinator.
