The Cowboys have no idea if AOA is the guy or not. He hasn't played the position nearly enough for the coaches to rely on him. He came from a small school, then gets hurt last year on special teams.

No way they are relying on him for this year.

right now it looks like it is. the boys seem to be willing to see what they have before signing someone else.

I don't know how you can say he's not ready. He's had a short offseason this year but he'll have two training camps of studying. He may or may not be ready. We shall see.

First, be glad that Jerry isn't in a panic. He doesn't make good decisions when he's panicked.

I gotta believe that they'll sign someone who is at least serviceable. Probably one who has previously played for Ryan.

If the coaches like him he's gonna be out there. Maybe ya'll haven't figured it out yet. Two new starting safeties are not walking through that door. It's time to accept that there is a very real, and likely chance that one of our starting safeties is one that is already on the roster.

If AOA is the reason Jerry is not making a move a safety, it would be one of the dumber things he's ever though.

Dumber than being confident in Ball because AOA hasn't done a single thing.
