Maybe coach has a real plan for this team

Nice attempt to come up with a good excuse for this putrid play. But no, don't think that was the intention. They just weren't prepared properly and really just sucked big time. They were saved by the fact it was the Texans. Got out of there limping with a narrow win. But so be it. Another game next week and let's see how that one unfolds. Jax beat up on the Titans today, so they sure ain't gonna be easy pickings.
I think Jax next week is going to be tough. Maybe they Cowboys overlooked the Texans for this reason…

I’m a big believer that in the NFL you have to be really good at the game within the actual game. I think the Cowboys went into this game with the intentions of not showing anything new to the Eagles. I think they ran a very conservative game plan, shot them selves in the foot with the turnovers, they didn’t adjust very much. Last week they showed a lot by running CeeDee on them jet sweeps, but it was needed to open things up against a team that surprised us early on. They didn’t adjust to the Texans RPO today, which infuriated me until I started to think that maybe they got something for the RPO that the Eagles will run against us in a few weeks and didn’t want to give them two weeks to dissect, instead the Eagles will have a halftime break to adjust. Maybe, just maybe coach has a real plan for this team and it’s bigger than looking amazing against the team that will be picking first in next 2 drafts.

What do you guys think?
I think you are overthinking it.
We were not mentally prepared for the game.
We thought we could just show up
Does not work that way in the NFL.
Talent margin is to small from team to team

I think they let themselves play down to the level of their opponent again. To think they let the game get down to one minute of slipping away to prevent Philly from 'seeing' anything is ludicrous in my opinion. This is just another example of a Jones led bunch of players feeling they are entitled and barely winning against a far inferior opponent. It's the culture, it's toxic and will prevent this team from winning anything.

Just look at what SF and Philthy did today, Dallas couldn't even dominate at home vs a team that's been trash all year

The Eagles barely beat the colts earlier this season, today you gas them up?

Stuff happens man, I never said I agreed with this theory I just wondered if it may be why we looked so bad.

I've seen this play out too many times over the past 27 years. If you want to buy in then more power to you brother, I'll stick with the one and done narrative. Honestly, Philthy and SF look like the teams trending.

I do not think these 2 coordinators, the actual coaches of this team along with Jerry, are thinking along the lines of what the OP says.
This HC continues doing his best impression as the gameday walk around manager that Coach Jerry feels are McCarthy's primary puppet job requirements.

i don't think there is any doubt.
after week 1...i didn't see 10 wins this late in the season.
with all the injuries...he's got this team playin' hard.
good on him and his staff.
damn right he's got a plan.
