Maybe Dak could just step away from football for a bit?

You've now been reduced to 15 words or less from the previous 30.

Anything more will not get a response from me in the future, Dak fan.
So you telling me you are getting dumber? Can't read past 15 words..

Brain damage? Too much paint sniffing over the holidays?

I will look up for some brain doctors in Philly area. First visit is on me....

Maybe he could jsut rest his mind spirit and body. He’s been paid well but he’s still human and he probably is hurting.

I wonder if they could jsut pay him
But he takes a year away from the team to recharge and reshape his body ya know

He seemed stress and unhappy in the press box. Does he even have to be there ? Why not just rest up with the family
Pretty sure that is what he is currently doing.

Sigh.
Think what you will of Dak's skill or his bloated contract, he's a competitor playing for the most visible sports franchise in the world.
He's also playing a sport that isn't kind to players returning after a hiatus away from the game.
There's ZERO chance of Dak stepping away a bit unless it's health-related.

HonoluluCowboy.....obvious your mind lives in the gutter. I'll chalk it up as "keyboard kourage". Nice try to deflect......just as Dak's money in your head. I'll be hear, not running behind the personal mess. Going no where....book it.

This is a bit nonsensical. First, he is taking most of this season off already because of the injury. Second, competitive players don't just take a 1 year hiatus. They want to be on the field. Third, It would cost him a boatload of money and players have a limited amount of time to make big money. Fourth, the Cowboy fanbase, teammates and franchise would turn against him if he just decided to just take it easy for a season.

I feel ridiculous posting this because these things shouldn't need to be explained

So let me try to get this.
1. You get paid 60 million a year.
2. You get injured.
3. You still getting paid.
4. You have the biggest contract on the field.

Tell me again, why would you think a player o by this matter, anyone, who gets paid 60 million USD a year should NOT do his job because he/she is tired of it?
Jesus Christ, I'm starting to tell people here don't have any logic or sense of responsibility.

Remove "Dak" from the question and replace him with your current boss. Imagine he gets paid a lot of money per year and someone at your job says he/she should step away (getting paid) because she/he needs time to reshape or do whatever.

We hired his best friend at running back just to make him feel better

You were fine with the second playoff game, but like most Dak haters do, They first put the blame on him for the Green Bay game and then in fine print mention the rest of the team. Extreme comedy.
Please don't assume you know anything about what I intended. It makes you look like an idiot with an agenda which probably isn't your goal. There was no fine print. That was an addendum because the conversation was about Dak, not the team. The team is equally to blame. Fine print would be this: The team also sucked*. See the difference? Dak choked 3 years in a row. The team choked 2 of those years...but the body of evidence is out on Dak and it's not good. Again, I was a Dak supporter until I saw the truth staring me right in the eye and that's he's a mental case that chokes when the pressure gets to be too much. Personally I think it was his ankle injury that did that. He played fine in his playoff games before that.

Since we're cheryy picking........let's simplify.....what's your take on the Green Bay game last year? Explain that one.

And as for the choke label......he ain't the 1st to carry that label in a Cowboy uniform as QB1. Don't make it right, but just to make sure you don't have a short memory.
Then entire team choked against GB and the coaches also made inexplicable choices. It was an entire team failure. But it doesn't excuse any one player. That's my take on it. Why do you people have this problem with saying Dak choked when he choked? The rest of the team choking does not excuse it. Nobody gets an excuse. The conversation was about Dak though...so that's who I focused on. See how that works?

Dak threw two picks in each of the last two playoff games he played, there is no way to not label him a choker and put those losses on him because the importance of his position, the Defense argument is just gravy by now.
To be fair, the defense was just as to blame in the GB game as Dak. Quinn and his baffling decision to run zone when Love was weaker against Man and the Cowboys were better at Man coverage is inexcusable.

Just wanted your take on the GB......mild but we know the narrative has been GB beat Dak according to the Hate Club. The conversations include Dak on many topics that don't begin as a thread on him. See how that works.....not let's watch Cooper & the 'Boys go against Cincy next week but meanwhile count the threads about one player this week.
