It was mentioned on a post that Jerry isn't interested in getting a free agent for the OL. If that's the case you don't won't two rookies on the same side of the OL. Saying that I bet Gurode is Plan A at guard and Costa or the rookie at C.

ESPN Chicago (sorry no link) is stating that Kreutz has refused a $4mill per year ultimatum from Bears' Brass.

Toss $4.5m at Olin & retry Gurode (I know it didn't work years ago) at G? Would be nice to see Romo with strong middle pocket, ala Breese, without the shotgun mortar shots every other game.

This would be huge IMO. Olin Kreutz has a couple good years left, is a solid person and leader and could help us.

No, Gurode will be back very soon and should be starting week 1 in NY.

You only miss 8 weeks if you are on pup when the season starts.

I'm not ready to give up on a guy that has a bad snap maybe a handful of times during the season. When he is on he is one of the best in the league.

That was also two years ago and not evident last year meaning that he worked to correct it.
