Maybe it's just me but Jamaica Rector has really impressed me

I very much agree that Hurd and Rector need to make this team; both have really impressed. I'm still undecided on Green. He has to make the team as a returner and so far he has not been that impressive. He has had a couple of decent runbacks but nothing to write home about. Of course it would help if he had some blocking to help him out and it is going to be a rough go for him with DeHaven as our ST coach.

But right now...if we kept 6, I would take Copper over Green. Green has shown nothing.

Why do you keep throwing Green in with the WR's? He is ST not a WR.

Maybe because he is listed on the roster as a WR...the same reason we keep throwing Copper in with the WR's. Copper is a ST player as well.

Yeah because they don't have anything for ST's. Parcells said he is not a WR.

Call him whatever you want...I doubt he makes the team.

3 QB
3 RB
4 TE(or 3 TE and FB)
9 OL
5 WR
1 K
1 LS

That is 26 players on offense. If we have to keep a kickoff specialist, that is 27. There isn't a spot "just" for ST, and surely not for a guy that just can return punts, and apparently not very well from what we have seen thus far. He seems out of his league.

On defense:

1 P
6-7 DL
8-9 LB
8-9 DB

Everyone else on the team can play more than special teams.

3rd QB doesn't count against roster. I guess you didn't see Green's last return I was pretty impressed.

The 3rd QB does count against the 53 man roster. It does not count againt the 45active gameday roster, so you essentially carry 46 players if you use the 3rd QB.

Copper has not shown as much as either Hurd or Rector as a receiver, but he also has not played bad out there. He has actually caught passes in the regular season and has shown he is a very good special teams player. His versatility may give him the edge over Rector. Seems like Dallas may be in good shape from top to bottom in their receiving corp.

Green isn't as fast as I thought he was. He couldn't outrun that LB on that one punt return. It almost seemed like he wanted to switch the ball to his other hand, but never did.

I love how the announcers keep calling Copper "COOPER"!
