The Vikings were undefeated at home for a reason.

Oh, no doubt. They're a helluva team. But that ultimately begs the question: What must we do to get on their level? Which, I think, explains all the post-game chatter here.

They are a good team, we are also a good team, but again in a tough opponent we look completely unprepared and make zero adjustments at any point. We couldn't even get into the end zone....

The blind homerism all week has been a delight to read. Bottom line is the Cowboys just are not that good.

My hats off to them, that DL is sick. But the end left a bitter taste in my mouth, they are a classless bunch.

Farve has to retire sometime, right?

Sure. But then the son of a gun will pop up someplace else. :laugh2:

True.

However, I don't believe the Vikings were "31 points" better then us.

Does it matter, though?

The better team won today. That was clear.

The question is, how do we improve ourselves (internally thru player development and externally thru free agency/draft)?

We believed the hype and thought we could come in and walk over the Vikes.

We got careless, played with no heart, made mistakes, and fell apart.

End of story.

In my opinion, heck yes it matters.

Going toe to toe with a team in a hard fought battle versus getting completely dominated is very important.

Folks better believe that the Offensive Line is completely disgusted with how bad they were dominated.

I don't think they are if they played better and the score is closer.

jerry jones know that the cowboys would play up to their stadom. That is why he built it. Now this was a road game so we lost. What we need is home feield the year we have the superbowl. Then jerrys new stadium will lead us to victory

Absolutely not. I'll still maintain that the Cowboys are the better team, but they were the better team today and that's all that matters. It's like the Arizona Cardinals making it to the Super Bowl last year. They certainly weren't the best team in the NFC, but they were the best team on the days they played in the postseason.

Favre and Warner retiring "could" accelerate our return to the land of the living, but the Vikes would have won this game even if Tarvaris Jackson had started.

There's a good reason why you don't start the season 2-2.

Your abiltiy to get a "bye" goes right in the ****ter.

Losing the early games to the Giants and Broncos set the table for what happened today.

Yep. But it won't happen next year. :)
