The way I see it the football team I follow has effectively been turned into a never ending circus of comic tragedy - like watching the Merchant of Venice on an endless loop for the last 30 years. They are my team and have been my team long before that a-hole (apologies for the potty mouth mods) Jerry made enough money to buy it and turn it into the current circus we see.

How? I haven’t been to a game in decades. Stopped going after Aikman retired. I don’t buy merch. I may go back and forth with folks here but outside of that I don’t in general even bother watching any cowboys related content. In fact I don’t even bother reading news on their site.

Micah will be the highest paid player at his position (I assume DE not LB). I'm not exactly sure how much his agent is asking for so it's hard to say he should ask for more. But honestly he can ask for a billion I don't care, what matters is what the team decides to pay him.

Mahomes sales are up because that Swift woman bought them to spike the sales. Not really, just throwing some fun out there.

They might not be too happy if he retires after this season. Of course, fans who buy jerseys probably don't mind them only wearing them for one season. I haven't worn a player's number since I had Dorsett's because it's about the team for me, not the individuals.

Micah should be traded. If and when jerry pays him 45 mil a year, he will never earn that,
nor will he ever be a impact player in the playoffs. So he is just a very expensive diva and motor mouth , who is not a team player. He plays for himself only.

True but that means media people mainly.
Talking cowboys here or to your neighbor is inconsequential .

Jerry does want people to think about cowboys alot, but really the casual fans are the majority, and they go to games and buys all kinds of merch, do tours, and they really arent thinking or talking
much about the cowboys in the off season.

Preseason games are what get the casuals ready for the season.

My mother in law bought me a Micah jersey so she contributed but I refuse to. She asked my wife who should she get and she told her “our best player” of course! That’s why I married! Lol

Back in 2016 my wife said she was going to get me a Dak Jersey and I said no!
I told her I'm not sold on him and I don't want his jersey.
I've actually thrown out all my Cowboys jerseys and shirts. Did that a few years ago. Almost bought a Parsons jersey after his rookie year. Parsons, Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels are favorites.
