Maybe now Flozelle Adams will get some respect.

When he got injured the OL went to garbage. Bledsoes blindside protection went down the toilet. So many people hated on Flozelle but when he went down do did the offense. We had a pretty open offense when he was in there.

Losing Adams was the most costly injury we suffered.

I will agree with one point, he is a great pass blocker, but this year and last year his run blocking has been sub par.

I dont know enough about blocking in the trenches to understand why that is possible, but when we ran the ball this year between him and Larry, it was bad.

Yeah-Adams was never perfect, but he IS the Glue to our OL(something I never realized 'till the season progressed).

His loss was just as significant as Al S' loss 'cuz of just that-his LEADERSHIP.

I read this thing about how Adams misses playing. He is really working out hard and getting ready for the 06 season. Look for him to be at his best ever.

Because Larry Allen also has dropped of in the running game badly. I have rewatch a lot of oline film from Tivo the last few games and Allen is pathetic on anything but pass blocking most the times. He is shot and Tucker is a better run blocker than Allen. In fact I bet next year if we played Flo LT and Tucker LG we have the left side domaniting guys.

Technically all it proves is that he is much better than a UFA who came within a hair of being cut in training camp.

Just saying...

Again, I dont understand this "When Flo went down that was our whole season".

Every dang team in the league has injuries at key positions, it is up to the coaching staff to be innovative, change directions on a dime and come up with a game plan to compensate.

If you let one guy on the offensive line determine your whole season then you need to re-evaluate yourself as a coach.

Sorry..we went toe-to-toe with Denver, Giants, KC, Seattle etc etc.

Im not letting Flo take the fall for this season...the blame obvious needs to fall somewhere else.
