So today is the day. Will give a prayer mock and a likely mock. First how will the 1st 11 picks go.
39. CJ Allen, OLB, Georgia - he has been a target for a long time
63. Keionte Scott, CB, Miami - believe he falls a few spots but makes a lot of sense for Parker
74. Romello Height, Edge, Texas Tech - another 30 visit guy that fits the Parker mode for an Edge
92. Malik Muhammad, CB, Texas - a better player in Parker scheme
107. Chris Bell, WR, Louisville - probably won't play much this year due to ACL, show have been top 20 pick
112. Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor - a 7 foot wing span, catches ball with hands not body
177. Isaiah World, OT, Oregon - probably a red shirt year but if healthy can be a LT or RT
180. Cole Wisniewski, S, Texas Tech - he just makes plays, he and Downs will be new Harris/Waters
212. Rene Konga, DT, Louisville - they look at him as a good rotation piece
218. Roman Hemby, RB, Indiana - could be a good sleeper back
Likey mock
12. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio St. - probably slips due to new info on knee
31. CJ Allen, OLB, Georgia - believe he has been a target for a long time
52. Jacob Rodriquez, ILB, Texas Tech - the red dot guy (trade up from #63)
92. Romello Height, Edge, Texas Tech - lets hope he falls
112. Will Lee III, CB, Texas A&M
152. Charles Demmings, CB, SFA
177. Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor
180. Cole Wisniewski, S, Texas Tech
218. Roman Hemby, RB, Indiana
UDFA. EJ Smith, RB, Texas A&M
UDFA. Rene Konga, DL, Louisville
UDFA. Nyjalik Kelly, Edge, UCF
UDFA. Joe Cooper, OT, Slippery Rock
UDFA. James Brockermeyer, OC, Miami
- Las Vegas Raiders- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana - don't think it changes at all
- New York Jets- David Bailey, Edge, Texas Tech - sure could be Reese but the GM and Coach HAVE TO win, Reece more up side but they don't have time to wai
- New Orleans Saints (via Arizona Cardinals)- Arvell Reese, LB/Edge, Ohio State - whether Bailey or Reece here, believe the Saints will move up for one of them, sure it could be Love or wait for a WR, would be a significant move for the Saints
- Tennessee Titans- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame - sure they have a D guy as head coach but GM knows that Love would be great for Cam Ward, will address D later
- New York Giants- Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State - reports are that they don't want Styles and today's report on Downs with a possible degenerate knee makes this pick on O for Dart, Giants have met with Tyson numerous times and appears to be what they want opposite Nabers
- Dallas Cowboys- (via Cleveland Browns)- Sonny Styles, ILB, Ohio St. - does it make sense, believe that Dallas will to give up #12 and 1st in 2027 for #6, #39, #107 for him, lots of talk about Jerry needing to get the D right now as time is slipping away and if D becomes respectable then could be a great year.
- Washington Commanders- Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State - see them as either D or WR, they have got to help Daniels and Quinn isn't a guy to take a chance on a short arm guy
- Arizona Cardinals- Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
- Dallas Cowboys (via Kansas City Chiefs)- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State - how? well KC needs a true #1 WR, sure they could go Bain here but Spagnola doesn't care for the short arms either, KC will to give Pickens a 4yr deal at $35 mil a year for #9 and #74, maybe Dallas will get more but betting they aren't going to push it
- New York Giants (via Cincinnati Bengals)- Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU - they would have taken Downs or maybe take OT but Delane probably last blue chipper on their board and a need
- Miami Dolphins- Rueben Bain Jr., Edge, Miami - what doesn't Miami need, they could trade down but Bain fits a need, is a local player that is well liked so a marketing need also
- Cleveland Browns (via Dallas Cowboys)- Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia - will be there LT for 10 years and believe if they didn't get a trade down then he would have been the pick anyway
