Maybe the Boys should throw the Skins game

Because right now, the only team I think will give Dallas a scare in the playoffs is the Vikings. They have a killer run offense and their defense, especially against the run is best in the league. Running and stopping the run will get you far in the playoffs. And now Taverious is beginning to figure it out. The Vikes are starting to put it together at the right time.

With the Giants and the Vikings probably the wildcards in the NFC. If either wins, Giants will go to Greenbay and the Vikes to Big D. The Skins have to play the Vikes. I hope they win.

Listen to yourself, you're scared of the Queens. :bang2:

they look pretty stout right now. Nothing to joke about really. They are peaking at the right time and I would rather not have to see them again.

I don't think Minnesota will even make it to Dallas. They will probably play at Seattle in the 1st round and I can't see Tavaris making enough plays in that noise fest to win. You need good QB play to win in the playoffs and Seattle will not be a picnic for Tavaris.

He won't be throwing much, AD and Taylor will be carrying the ball majority of the time!

Throw a game to avoid a team, this is a weak minded approach. We are good enough to beat anyone, I'd say, bring it on whoever they are.

Three of their last 4 wins are against the Raiders, Lions, and 49ers. The Pack embarrassed them before that.

Dallas better hope they don't stumble and end up needing to beat Washington in D.C.

It would be a good game to rest the "weary" and get them healthy for the playoffs...15-1 means little versus the prospect of hobbled bodies in the postseason...

If they take care of business at home and at Carolina...then they can take a well-deserved rest.:starspin

what makes any of you all think that the road teams are going to win their wildcard games? I think Tampa and Seattle will have something to say about that

At this point, niether of those teams worry me more than Minnesota, especially the way our run defense got gashed today.

The only team we should even be remotely scared of is a team that we won't face until the SB. So what if Minn has AP... we have a decent run defense (4th best in NFL for yards allowed per game). Throwing games is not only cheating, but poor sportsmanship from the eyes of other teams.

That's because we've struggled so much against the run this year, right?:laugh2:

Look how far it got us in last year's playoffs.

And look how far it got the Seahawks when they went to Chicago in the next round. Or the Chargers at New England.

Sorry, but there's very little correlation between running/stopping the run and winning games in the NFL, even in the playoffs. It's all about passing more effectively than your opponent and/or making big plays (turnovers, touchdowns) on defense and special teams.
