Maybe the Cowboys do have some interest in Gabe Jackson

Do you think he fits a zone blocking scheme?

I think it is hard to tell. I argued with a well known poster for three days about Frederick being able to fit this scheme. It was the week before the draft and many posters would have never believed that Fred was going to fit this scheme. This particular zone scheme does not use the smaller linemen. I haven't watched any of the line prospects to say, but some of the bigger guys could fit this scheme just fine as Frederick proved.

Great post. Few even considered Frederick around here because he wasn't a fit for the zone. Our team has their own prototype.

I think one thing that helped Fred to be so successful is that he is a cerebral type of player...he will grow into a position because he has the smarts to adapt; plus, he has the ability to do so....need more cerebral players that can adapt, as long as they have the ability

I'd like to have a couple or more who could pull. We don't do screens because we embarrass ourselves and waste a down. Mostly. We're not too bad on sweeps esp Smith.

It's difficult to determine which players don't fit Callahan's scheme.

Fred does play much better quickness than is indicated by his forty time.

Very odd we disqualified Warford, but now value a similar road grader this year.

That was based on his forty time and not on his film though.
