Maybe the Cowboys media should take more blame for interviewing Jerry so much?

Jerry controls the local media through fear and intimidation. You got a glimpse of it in the recent 105 the Fan interview when the hosts dared to ask if he regrets not doing anything last offseason. Jerry likes to talk. He does not like to be questioned.

It's not the air time that's the problem. If they would start challenging him by conducting actual interviews instead of throwing him softball questions and not challenging his answers, he'd go into hiding.
^ This. Reporters should consistently seek informative answers, which they should then report to their viewers, listeners and readers. And not just from Jerry Jones but from anyone or about anything in life.

That is what news gathering should be about. That includes sports news.

It is atypical for NFL general managers to retain their positions indefinitely if their teams do not achieve on the field. GM's should especially be questioned about their reasoning and decision-making when results do not match hype.

True journalism died with the 24 hour news cycle dominated by opinion shows.

If the media stops doing interviews with Jerry they wont get access to Mike, and Jerry will find new media people to cover the Cowboys.

When all you hear is Jerry and Stephen telling us stuff about the team instead of the guy they hired to do so the COACH! The media should skip going to Jerry and go to Mike just to see how Jerry takes it. We know Jerry has to have his news time, but why? What's the fascination in being in the front seat, instead of the back seat? Please give your thoughts
How? The Cowboys media is bought and paid for by the owner. Shan of the FAN questioned Jerry and his job was threatened. Good luck with anyone in the media saying anything but fire McCarthy.

Jerry wants all the attention. It has to be all about him.

He doesn't like to share the spotlight (right Jimmy?) and never will.

He feels that he is responsible for building the Cowboys brand to what it is today.
Agree with you BD. But Jerry IS responsible for the Cowboys brand the way it is today on and off the field. He deserves the “credit” he craves for everything that has happened this year. This is Jerry’s team.

Or threaten their jobs. One of the two.
