If he were to do that, he would be contradicting himself when he said he was sorry that he'd caused a distraction. He'd be reminding everyone of that distraction, and that wouldn't sit well with his teammates or coaches.

I just he gets over his injury enough to consistently hold on to the ball. As courageous as he has been to play through it, we're lucky his drops didn't cost us any games.
