I think he is glued to his defensive players...as to learning, there is a lot and plenty going around.

Now answer this...if Irving, Mayowa, Collins, Crawford, Lawrence, Russell, or Tapper become strong players...you going to give credit to Marinelli?

Just to be clear, you are crediting Rod Marinelli with the development of Dez? Yes, if any of those guys produce, it will be because Rod helped develop them.

Let's be completely clear...the post that I quoted from you, did NOT state specificly the defining element now, Marinelli...and I was merely pointing out that there was involvement with both good Dallas coaches, (put together by both Jerry and Jason), and some talented players in noticeable numbers as well. Thus responding to the echo in the room...

The possibility of someone doing something stupid is always present with any player. The FO took a risk on a player with top 10 talent that they drafted late in the 2nd round (great value).

I'm sure they set him up for success, he just didn't do his part. I don't fault them for taking that type of risk.

I'm not saying I fault them. I have no issue with it.

My issue is that if they didn't have a back up plan in place the first few years he's here, while you're finding out if he's going to be successful or a screw up, then they're stupid.

They knew the risk with him. If they were not planning around that accordingly then they're just plain stupid.
