I don't know where you live. But, you can get a used WRX with 25,000 miles on it a little more, and if the body is not bad? You might be able to snag a cool *** car around ten grand or so..maybe thirteen or so.

They last a long time...plus, they look good on the road. Look around for some of those.

It's tough to find them used since no one wants to part with them!

That being said, he doesn't have much of anything good to say about Mitsubishi cars since the 3000GT of the early 90's...

I can't say anything for the rest of the Mitsu line up, but the Evo's engine is rock solid. I had it for 5 years and just did whatever maintenance it required. Tracked it many, many times and drove her hard. Never once had a hiccup.
