Mazi is like a lot of gifted athletes in college football; they are the fastest, strongest, quickest players on the field and thus can dominate strictly in their innate athletic.ability.Take is spot on. Watch him, he's hot garbage
Guy is a freak athlete but a terrible football player.
However, in pro football, that athletic edge is gone as most NFL players are just as fast, strong and quick; therefore, one must mitigate that by working on technique, proper nutrition/conditioning; film study and knowing the roles within the defensive scheme. Failure to do so and the player is left to their own devices…football is a job…and if you can’t do the work you don’t play; nothing is handed to you because you were a good college player.
Maybe that is why a lot of the best players aren’t necessarily the best athletes, but they do all the other things required to make them great football players; they know the job and they know what it takes to do the job at a high level and they do it.
