It's insufferable about every player we have. Either up or down, it just gets blown out of proportion. There is no doubt the guy is really strong...but bad technique can be erased fairly easily.

That’d be great if it was what happened last night. It wasn’t. Too many times he was moved out and the Rb hit a clean hole for 6-8 yards before he was even touched. Looked exactly the same as it has been. Hopefully it will be different when all the starters are playing but so far it doesn’t look like he is providing any improvement. Hopefully he isn’t another Bust like Hill.

I’m now questioning the point of drafting him. If it takes him 2-3 yrs to become worth anything then why waste the draft pick, just go sign someone who has already turned the light switch on. by the time Mazi develops, he will want a new contract.

Lot of time this season to show more. And I posted a video review liking Mazi in the first game. 1st round pick gonna play this year. Doesn't mean he's going to *start* the year looking that good.

What is blown out of proportion is the pretend world. In real life, if somebody watches how this player has played thus far and did not know who he was, they would label him a bum.

Our fanbase is too spoiled by player like Micah and Tyler that they think we can just plug in a rookie 1st round pick and they will dominate. Especially a player taken late in the first round.

One of the biggest issues with him is he’s not getting off the ball quick enough. I’m just hoping the knee issue he was having in camp is what’s making him look slow. I remember him having an MRI on it.

Strength doesn't mean much in the NFL. Not as much as fans think. I remember all the draft experts on here raving how strong Andrew billings was and he ended up a jag. Mazi wasn't drafted for strength he was drafted for his athleticism at his size.
