Mazi didn't run the 40 either. He might have tanked it on purpose so he would drop to a better team than usual scrubs Lions,Cardinals, etc.Feldman's Freak List billed him with a vertical jump of 44", but his Pro Day vert was 29.5".
That really brought the rest of Feldman's article into question for me. Sure, numbers provided by the player or football program are going to be optimistic or "personal best" type stuff. But a 29" vert and a 44" vert aren't even on the same planet.
And winner by TKOHere is this guy's thread from last year
https://cowboyszone.com/threads/drafting-has-been-really-bad-from-2018-2020.494086/
He died in the ring.Straight up KO.
Probably a 20 count.
Are you mentally stable? Was that thread wrong? It's been prove correct over the years.
Woooooow. Jerry should legitimately hire this guy and just do the exact opposite of what he suggests. This has to go in the HOF of bad posts
He got his *** handed to him vs TCU. What do you think top tier OL in the NFL are going to do him?
How does it work exactlyI love the forums new Bookmark system ......
I think he can, but who knows what he becomes in the NFL.
He's never going to deliver first-round value, but he can be a good player that isn't a "wasted pick."
Smith wasn't a reach and he was an excellent pick for the Cowboys. It makes a huge difference in having him instead of ending up with nothing at the dtackle position.
This is exactly how they see MaziIs he going to have a pass-rush win up near 20%? Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, but I doubt it.
The only path to being a first-round value at DT is being a threat on the passrush. That doesn't necessarily mean racking up sacks, but it does mean consistently beating blockers into the backfield. There's only a handful in the league right now.
Perennial super bowl contenders thank you for keeping this line of thinking going while their NT's lead them to the big show.Vince Wilfork, as he was used, is basically useless in 2023.
Except for the fact that they absolutely don't.Perennial super bowl contenders thank you for keeping this line of thinking going while their NT's lead them to the big show.
