McCaffery as RB and 1st round pick

Ok not many rb's get selected in rd 1, and I have no idea the last time a rb was taken round 1
and was a white guy.
I am happy for him, and it is good to see, hope he can live up to a rd 1 pick.

I watched 1 hl reel on yt, and he looks a little small, which may be his main flaw.
But he has good vision, and once past the line is good in open field.
He has good speed, and did break thru some arm tackles.
I think he was very good at getting downfield and catching passes, and then run after catch.
Also seems to be a smart guy.
So as a power runner he wont make it, but if they use him right as a receiver alot he might be good.
And if they can get him around end, or thru the line he can do good.

Due to his size I still dont see him as a round one pick though, and fournette, not sure he is worth a
rd 1 pick either.

Here in Charlotte, the local morning radio host has been campaigning for him the last three weeks. Lots of people around here love the pick. Me, meh. I watched this kid a lot at Stanford. Thought he was a Reggie Bush or Shady McCoy type of back. Wish him all the best at the next level.

Well you never know, a lot depends on his mental makeup , the intangibles etc.
He seems to have those, and the one thing is if he gains weight, he will lose his speed, so maybe better to stay small but fast?
