This season McCaffrey is making his case for MVP and Offensive Player of the Year with his performance. The 23-year-old currently has 866 yards from scrimmage, which is more 50 more yards (816) than Elliott and Gurley have combined.

Rushing + Passing Yards. Just Wow.

I don't believe a RB can rightfully deserve the MVP award, but if one could...

But in Fairness, the Panthers are riding that kid into the ground. He's the whole offense. Dallas and LA have other options.

He's having an insane year so far.

And its not due to volume only....the indistubable evidence is that even with the higher workload, when you expect ypc to go down, his is higher than either Zeke or Gurley by a long shot.

They're gonna run him to the ground though.

If the Panthers can move on from Cam Newton and draft a worthwhile QB, McCaffrey will be good. Otherwise, he will be run down by year six.

That's what they SHOULD do as opposed to signing him for a ridiculous deal. Use him up. Cruel but fair.

They are compensated more than enough in 6 years. You add in education " if they dont waste it" outrageous salaries and endorsements. Then you have more options/advantages than 75% of the Country to get a career after.

When they're the stars of the show for a league that makes billions, they should get all their talent affords them. If the rest of the "75% of the country" has a problem with what these guys earn, perhaps they can work harder to become the best in the world at what they do to make more for themselves if that's what they want. I mean, we all signed up to take residency in a capitalist nation and all.

I think a running back like zeke suits the cowboys more because I don’t trust our staff to fully use a back with mcafferys diverse skill set. Zeke suits the cowboys because you just let him run north and south.
