McCants cut by Skins, any interest?

At this stage, I think we're in the situation that unless you're a top 3 WR on the team, you almost have to play on Special Teams.

There's not one single part of that post that makes him sound like a guy Parcells would want to bring in.

I heard he's a little lazy. Whichever the reason Gibbs is certainly cutting him in spite of need. He's the only big body they had at WR.

Gibbs actually compared him to Art Monk at one time, but seemed to fall out favor very quickly after signing a new contract.

Does not play well on teams and Gibbs always questioned his work ethic. Both of those combined I guess added up to being cut.

I like Crowder first he plays special teams too.

After that it's just a toss up, Morgan has the talent though but .... no hands. McCants has decent hands.

Copper will be lucky to make the squad but is he better than a Free Agent like McCants?

I think McCants could edge out Copper but I'm not sure because we havn't seen enough of the young Copper.

McCants has potential but he considers himself an arteeest before a football player because he has sold some paintings for around $50K. But newsflash McCants!!..had you not been a pro WR your paintings would have sold for dingleberries and crumbs. If he wants to be a painter rather than a WR, fine, welcome to the world of the starving artist. It's tuff, i did it for years.

Maybe he'll gain focus somewhere else, he has skills....but i doubt it.

I'd love to pick him up ... he was their TD guy two years ago...gibbs buried him and he was never active for games...he could be a nice understudy for Keyshaun.

Not to turn this into People magazine, but this guy was sexin' with Vivica A. Fox. I've always been impressed him!

Seriously, he had a good 2nd year in the league. Improved his 3rd year, catching 6 TD passes and averaging more yards per catch than the prior year. Then, Vivica wore him out, dumped him, Gibbs came on board, and he was never heard from again. Getting dumped by Vivica A Fox would take me at least half a decade to recover.

He has good hands, is a bit faster than Key, and works himself well in the end zone from the handful of games I've seen. He's an intelligent guy, which Parcells would like, but he may be too intelligent to want to be destroyed going over the middle. I can't remember if he's a good blocker, which Morgan is ocassionally. Better hands and attitude than Morgan in my opinion. Never got the impression he was lazy. More like he just wasn't imbedded in jock culture.

Yeah I wasn't really looking far down the list when I said that. I get the feeling from talking to Skin's fans that the makeup will be

Moss, Patten, Thrash, Brown, and maybe Jacobs.

I'd be surprised if Dyson made the team. None of those other guys top 6' regardless of what their profiles say.
