After the San Francisco game, we realized we’re going to have to open it up on offense. It was pretty much just dink and dunk early in the season. It was almost like we were afraid for Dak to throw the ball down the field. It was one of the most boring, uncreative offenses I can ever remember the Cowboys having. We weren’t going down the field much and had no explosiveness whatsoever. Now our offense looks completely different. We’re making big plays down the field and the offense has become exciting to watch. It’s like night and day from what we saw early in the season. Our passing offense has really taken off. We went from 17th overall on offense a few weeks ago to number 4 overall.

May only have been the Giants, but we were only an inch or two on a couple of plays and an offside away from putting 40 on the Eagles…
We definitely are looking improved offensively.
We can certainly hang with the Eagles. They also benefit immensely by the refs.

That PI against Lamb on his one hand catch was actually less noticeable than the penalty not called on the Eagles on Lamb.

I wont be convinced until I see McCheese figure out a consistent run game against good opponents.

IF ANYONE BELIEVES THIS YOU'RE SETTING YOURSELF UP TO BE LET DOWN, though it looked good, why now? Let's see it against a stronger opponent, these blowout wins mean nothing!!
Uhh the offense looked good against Philly, did you watch the game? It came down to the very end.

That's with some very bad calls too.

I think things started to change after the San Fran game.

It was noticeable that Dak was throwing into coverage too many times and we forgot about Cook completely. Once we started opening up the offense using Cook's deep ball speed this opened things up for Lamb. Then once defenses started double or triple Lamb, this allowed Cook to work the deep and intermediate routes.

Unlike before with our offense, once something started to work, we completely abandoned it. With this McCarthy offense we keep feeding our hot players over and over until the defense starts to shift their coverage.

It'd like the pass opens up the run
That spreads open the putting opposing linebackers on their heels and involves the back field with a ton of choices then. And the old standbyes of in motion and playaction!

His name is Mike McCarthy...until you can put him to waste coaching or head up, show some respect.

Conversation should probably be how did the Giants suddenly get so bad? Bottom 5 defense, scoring, rushing and passing yards.

I knew all the Playoff Hype was overblown, they probably suffer same as Cowboys from overreaction, but didn't think they would crater this much.
Yeah, I thought the arrow had been trending up on them coming into this year. Surprised that they've collapsed so hard.

Giants game...

Reinforces the Pro-Dak school of thought if you ask me. Lose your first string QB and your left praying for miracle...lose your second string and your team is 2 - 7 with infighting on the sidelines during games amongst high paid professionals.

DaBol(sp) should be given a two week vacation to anywhere he wants by management after this year...plus a serious bonus. That situation is unmanageable.

Man...that game...is why quality Bus Drivers are a serious thing and why real GMs with real jobs on the line pay Bus Driver instead of hoping for miracles.
