C'mon, he's got the name thing going for him. You tell me a cat named Matt Waletzko can be anything but a NFL OL.

The Cowboys are good at drafting OL......in the 1st round. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I’d much rather hear

“Waletzko has looked great and will earn a shot to start at RT.”

I know it’s hard without pads. But it’s always alarming they puff the “positional flex” instead of letting them be dominant at one position

Coaches have to see and know what they're players can do, so it's just good coaching imho. I think Waletzko will primarily be a RT tho.

he's a tackle. The guard flex is wishful thinking by MM. How many 6-7, 6-8 guards are there? I think he can be the flex tackle if all things improve at camp.

Waletzko will be obliged to stay healthy to win the LT backup spot. Hopefully, things go well for him. Is he strong enough? We'll see. Stay tuned.
exactly. Best case scenario is he is an emergency guard and a swing tackle.

Haha! Flex is good. Of course it's good. How could it not be good?

It's your call, if you're convinced that's the deal. I plan to wait and see what he can do. In any case, Let's wish him well. ;)
